What is Nevou Health? +
Nevou is a connected health system made of three parts: the Nevou Band (a wrist wearable for recovery, sleep, HRV and heart rate), the Nevou Pod (a smart scale for weight and full body composition), and the Nevou app, which combines everything into clear daily guidance and explains the reasoning behind each number.
How is Nevou different from a smartwatch or other health apps? +
Most apps and watches show you what your numbers are. Nevou explains why — it links recovery, sleep, strain, body composition and nutrition into one model and makes one honest recommendation for your day, with the reasoning shown.
What does the Nevou Band measure? +
Heart-rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, sleep stages (deep, REM, light, awake), blood-oxygen (SpO₂), and movement — the raw signals of recovery and sleep.
What does the Nevou Pod (smart scale) measure? +
Body weight, body-fat percentage, muscle mass, body water, bone mass, and segmental composition — comparing left vs right and arm vs leg.
How does Nevou calculate Recovery? +
Recovery is led by your overnight HRV (ln RMSSD) measured against your own personal baseline, combined with your sleep performance and resting-heart-rate deviation. It estimates how much load your body can absorb today.
What is the circadian rhythm feature? +
Nevou forecasts your alertness across the day using a three-process model (homeostatic sleep pressure, the circadian oscillator, and sleep inertia), personalised to your chronotype, so you can schedule demanding work in your peak windows.
Is Nevou a medical device? +
No. Nevou supports wellness and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease.
Who owns my data, and is it private? +
You do. Nevou is privacy-first: your health data belongs to you, and you can export or delete it at any time. Nevou does not sell your data.
What platforms does Nevou run on? +
The Nevou app runs on iPhone (iOS), paired with the Nevou Band and Nevou Pod hardware. Android is planned but not yet available.
